From June 17 to 19, 2024, the University of Agribusiness and Regional Development (UARD) hosted the Governing Board meeting of the European University Alliance INVEST. This meeting marked a significant progression in collaborative efforts under the Erasmus+ Programme.

The agenda on the first day centered around joint programs, a key component of INVEST's activities during the second phase of project funding. The University of Córdoba, Spain, coordinated this work package, demonstrating a committed effort to advance educational collaboration.

INVEST has pioneered a new model for the development and implementation of joint programs aimed at granting a unified European diploma. This initiative brought together seven European universities to create new bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs specifically designed to meet the growing needs in sustainable regional development.

Building on the achievements of the first phase, which introduced 10 bachelor's specializations and 5 master's programs, the second phase aimed to further enhance and expand educational offerings across Europe. This collaborative effort underscored the commitment of INVEST members to fostering innovation and excellence in higher education.
