Ms Marjo Nenonen, PhD

I’m Marjo Nenonen and I work as Vice President of Karelia University of Applied Sciences. As Vice President, I lead Karelia's educational activities. I am responsible for the strategic management, results, and development of education. In addition, I operate in various regional, national, and international networks and steering groups.
I have a PhD in Education and my research interests are e.g. performance-based funding of HEIs, effectiveness and quality of education. My background is in teaching languages and communication. 
I am enthusiastic about developing higher education and working with students, teachers and our external partners.
