From October 1–3, 2024, the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra organized a crucial working meeting for representatives of INVEST partner universities. Over 50 participants from Slovakia, Greece, Finland, Bulgaria, France, Italy, and Spain gathered in Modra, Slovakia, to discuss the development of joint study programs, student mobility, and quality assurance in education.

The discussions highlighted several challenges, particularly in harmonizing different academic systems. For example, the varying duration of Bachelor’s programs and differing entry methods to universities created significant obstacles. The participants recognized the need to develop new models and solutions to bridge these differences and ensure a cohesive academic experience across countries.

Despite these challenges, the partners made meaningful progress toward their shared goal of establishing a modern, transnational university that would offer innovative education at all levels of study.
