Javier is now the Director of Internationalization and Mobility Programmes at the University of Cordoba, he holds a Ph.D. in EFL and is now a Senior Lecturer at the University of Cordoba where he teaches Language acquisition and Bilingual Education.

He has published in different international journals and he has been enrolled in different international projects as a researcher and educational advisor and is a contributor to different teacher training institutions in Spain where he campaigns for the importance of affective factors in language learning. His current interest focus on the neural component of language learning and the development of efficient multilingual programmes.
