On 14–15 January 2026, the INVEST Alliance held a Meeting of Local Coordinators in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The meeting focused on strengthening consortium-level coordination and supporting the next phase of implementation across the alliance. Key topics included the finalisation of the Memorandum of Cooperation, the review of performance indicators for joint project implementation, and discussions on the future expansion of the INVEST alliance through agreed criteria for potential new partners.

Local coordinators also addressed the need for a clear strategic communication approach and branding, and held a moderated discussion on how to improve collaboration and project management across all aspects of implementation.

On the second day, the agenda continued with WP-level alignment. WP3 discussions focused on seamless mobility, including the piloting of 2026/27 internship mobilities linked to Living Labs, confirmation of the INVEST mobility framework, and next steps for the Mobility Service Point and Virtual Campus offering. WP4 discussions focused on joint Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, including decisions related to admissions through the Virtual Campus, fees, and a strategic plan for balanced teaching load among partners.

The meeting concluded with shared next steps to ensure coordinated delivery, strengthened collaboration, and continued progress toward INVEST’s objectives.
