Virtual Campus
- Invest Virtual Campus is the basic tool of the alliance which manages the study affair and also provides access to the staff and students, giving them opportunities to be involved in the development of the alliance's common degrees and courses (at all levels including the lifelong learning), mobilities and training/learning materials. EDUC8EU integrated platform will be utilized for the provision of consistent decision support for students by processing specific learner and organizational parameters derived from our research and analysis.

Home News INVEST Training of Trainers and Summer School to take place in Thessaloniki

The University of Thessaly will host the upcoming INVEST Training of Trainers event “Re-INVEST @ UTH: Digital Tools” and the INVEST Summer School 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The Training of Trainers will take place from 29 June to 1 July 2026 at Capsis Hotel Thessaloniki. It will bring together administrative and technical staff from INVEST partner universities for hands-on training on key digital services developed by UTH for the Alliance.

The programme will focus on the practical use of INVEST digital platforms, including the Virtual Campus, the Micro-credentials platform, EDUC8EU and the Mobility Journal. The objective is to support knowledge transfer, strengthen digital skills and encourage the adoption of digital solutions within partner universities.

At the same time, the INVEST Summer School 2026 will bring together students from INVEST partner universities in Thessaloniki from 29 June to 3 July 2026. Under the title “BS²R: Building Smart & Sustainable Regions”, the Summer School will focus on sustainability challenges, resilient regions, energy and natural resource management, food and nutrition sustainability, digital tools and education for sustainability.

The event marks an important step in moving INVEST digital services from development to real use across the Alliance. It also creates opportunities for students, academics, administrators and technical staff to work together, exchange experiences and strengthen the European cooperation developed through INVEST.

The Thessaloniki activities combine digitalisation, education, mobility and sustainability, highlighting the role of UTH in supporting the digital infrastructure of the INVEST Alliance.
